Day walk: Sunningdale - Virginia Water: Sun, 19th Feb 2012
Classic 12-mile walk across beautiful Sunningdale golf course and around Virginia Water. There is an option to shorten the walk by returning via Virginia Water station after lunch.
Please bring a packed lunch (no pub stop guaranteed), and spare food as back up to cover for unforeseen problems. A rucksack to carry snacks and a packed lunch and water/drink/flask, walking boots, waterproofs and spare warm clothing should all be carried.
Please avoid wearing jeans as these do not dry quickly if they get wet.

For the possibility of buying a GroupSave ticket (3 or 4 adults travel for the price of 2), please meet at the ticket office at Waterloo at 09:14 and look out for other members of Ibex. |
