George has organised a return visit to Dornie on the shores of Loch Duich, near the romantic Eilean Donan Castle. There are lots of Munros within reach, including the Five Sisters of Kintail and the seven along the South Glen Shiel Ridge, while for non-Munro baggers or for less clement days there are plenty of lower level walking opportunities.
Accommodation is the self-catering lodge sleeping eight that Ibex used last May. The lodge is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Dornie, which is accessible by bus from Inverness, Kyle of Lochalsh or Fort William. The lodge is a spacious new construction with underfloor heating and extensive use of glass giving good views of the loch. There are four twin/double bedrooms.
The cost of the week will be £125 (assuming all places are taken) + food + share of any car hire by non-car owners + travel up to Scotland.
