Come and explore Shropshire’s secret hills, so-called because they’re one of walking’s best kept secrets – easy to get to but not overrun. We will be staying a couple of miles from the charming market town of Bishops Castle (N.B. it has two breweries) in a converted 17th century barn with two 6-bed dorms, a fully-equipped kitchen and central heating.
The location offers plenty of walking at all levels. To the east there’s the ridge of the Long Mynd and the rugged tors of the Stiperstones, to the west Offa’s Dyke - the ancient border between England and Wales - and on our doorstep the long-distance Shropshire way.
